“Celebrating Immigration: Come, eat and drink together at the kingdom table” will be the theme of a gathering hosted by Iglesia Menonita Hispana (IMH) (Hispanic Mennonite Church) to be held May 3-4, 2013, at Iglesia Menonita Arca de Salvación, 3629 Michigan Ave., Fort Myers, Fla. The event will include times for worship, reflection, music, games, dramatizations, exhibits, and sharing traditional food. It is designed for people of all ages.
Speakers include Gilberto Flores, associate conference minister for Texas and church planting advancement for Western District Conference; Stanley Green, executive director of Mennonite Mission Network; Samuel López , moderator of Iglesia Menonita Hispana and administrator for the Hispanic Mennonite Church Board of Lancaster Conference; and Rolando L. Santiago, Ph.D., executive director of Lancaster Mennonite Historical Society.
Persons sending 10 registrants or more will receive a $10 discount. A hat or t-shirt is included in the registration fee. Registration deadline is April 12.
