Corinthian Plan Wellness Incentive for Employees and Covered Spouses
Participate and earn up to $600 in wellness incentive money in 2016. This annual benefit involves first completing the Highmark wellness profile and second talking with an Everence wellness coach or completing a Personal Wellness Plan. Feel more in charge of your health, and earn something back for your new and on-going efforts at wellness.
Please Note: For 2016 the Wellness Profile component of the incentive must be completed by February 28, 2017 in order to participate.
Additional Wellness Benefits:
- Wellness coaching. In addition to the wellness coaching offered in the Wellness Incentive, wellness coaching relationships can be initiated at any time by all plan members. Plan members with identified health risk factors may also be contacted and invited into a coaching relationship. This is done through a screening process and initial contact made by an Everence wellness coach. Participation is voluntary, but encouraged. - The Highmark website has many wellness resources. Log in and start with the wellness profile that is part of the Wellness Incentive. The wellness profile results will suggest tools and resources for you, but there is plenty to explore on your own. The tracking tools available can help you monitor your health behaviors and support you on your wellness journey.
- Make use of the Preventive Benefits in your health plan. The covered health guidance exam is a good way to gather needed health information for the Wellness Incentive and maintain a good working relationship with your healthcare provider. In addition, adults with a Body Mass Index (BMI) over 30 and children with a BMI in the 85th and 95th percentile have access to covered preventive care for nutrition counseling, and office visits with a health care provider for care specifically related to obesity.
- You can also read the Everence Live Well newsletters here. Each month there is a new focus on a different aspect of Wellness. These newsletters letters can spur or nudge you to consider new or reinvigorate old healthy practices and habits. (Note: The Corinthian Plan has its own Wellness Incentive/Program).
