Stutzman to meet with chair of House Judiciary Committee

Please pray for Ervin Stutzman, executive director of Mennonite Church USA, and others who will be meeting with Representative Goodlatte in Harrisonburg, Va., on Thursday, March 28, at noon (EDT) to discuss the need for just and humane immigration reform. Bob Goodlatte represents the sixth congressional district of Virginia and is chair of the House Judiciary Committee, which plays a vital role in shaping immigration legislation.

Other participants in the meeting include Alicia Horst (New Bridges Immigrant Resource Center), Jack Mercer (Pastor, Harrisonburg Baptist), Daniel Robayo (Episcopal priest), Isabel Castillo (Dream Activist VA), and a representative of the local Chamber of Commerce.
